Boston Career Forum
Boston - Where It All Began
The DISCO-organized Boston Career Forum is the world's largest and most-reputable Japanese-English job fair. Held each autumn in Boston, U.S.A., the event annually attracts nearly 200 leading Japanese and International companies and approximately 10,000 job seekers.
Why the World Comes to Boston
Back in 1987, we chose Boston as the site of our first Career Forum due to its proximity to world class learning institutions. The Boston Career Forum has become an annual tradition for both employers and bilingual job-seekers. Each year, the representatives of top companies from Japan and all over the world converge on Boston with the hopes of filling over 1,500 job openings and internships. These employment opportunities come from a wide range of business sectors, including the advertising, financial services, electronics and pharmaceutical industries.
Access to Top Talent
Job-seekers who attend the Boston Career Forum are surprisingly diverse. While some are new graduates looking for their first jobs, others are highly experienced professionals. Several things that all participants share is a Japanese-English bilingual ability and the desire to succeed on the global stage.
